Huntley Manufacturing Co. Monitor Peanut Cleaning Shelling Grading and Roasting Machinery Catalog No. 69 — gray-green soft cover with Monitor script trademark at top, Huntley silver-cream medallion centered, and Catalog No. 69 at bottom, photographed 2026-06-03

Catalog No. 69 from Huntley Manufacturing — the Monitor line’s peanut-cleaning, shelling, grading, and roasting catalog — came in from Pennsylvania seller thebaronsden. The gray-green soft cover carries a ruled black border, the Monitor script trademark, and the Huntley medallion. No. 69 is later in the catalog sequence than the peanut spare-part catalog (referenced to No. 55, HH-BOOK-2026-0018) already in the collection, and slightly later than the Supplementary No. 64 coffee-roasting catalog (HH-BOOK-2026-0019).

The peanut-roasting section of this catalog documents the same drum roaster technology that Monitor applied to coffee. The H and H connection runs through the shared equipment engineering: Huntley’s Silver Creek factory produced coffee-roasting drums and peanut-roasting drums from the same mechanical principles and — in many cases — the same components. The “Roasting” portion of a peanut-machinery catalog provides specification language for the drum, the heat source, and the cooling and discharge systems that are directly analogous to H and H’s coffee-roasting configuration. Together with the coffee-specific catalogs now in the collection, Catalog No. 69 rounds out the Monitor line documentation across the commodity spectrum Huntley served.
