Huntley Mfg. Co. Monitor Spare Part Catalog — Peanut Cleaning, Shelling and Grading (Silver Creek Era)

A Monitor Spare Part Catalog for Peanut Cleaning, Shelling and Grading Machinery from the Huntley Manufacturing Company of Silver Creek, New York — one of two catalogs acquired together from Wisconsin seller cheeseheadpicker. The gray-blue cover carries a ruled black border, the Monitor script registered trademark, and the Huntley medallion with its double date: “ESTABLISHED 1879 / INCORPORATED 1896.” The subtitle reads “As Illustrated and Described in Catalog No. 55.” The Silver Creek address places this in the earlier production period, predating the company’s relocation to Brocton.
The spare parts catalog cross-references Catalog No. 55 — a peanut-machinery main catalog earlier in the Huntley numbering sequence than the coffee-machinery catalogs now in the collection. The relevance to H and H is through the shared Monitor equipment family: the same Silver Creek factory that supplied peanut-cleaning drums, graders, and associated machinery also produced the Monitor roasters H and H used for coffee. Parts compatibility between commodity lines was a standard feature of the Monitor product family. The companion catalog from this order — the coffee-roasting supplement to Catalog No. 64 (HH-BOOK-2026-0019) — documents the coffee-specific application of the same machinery generation.
