Pitluk Advertising Company
Pitluk Advertising Company
San Antonio, Texas — Suite 608, Gunter Building. Advertising agency engaged for Hoffmann-Hayman’s 1923 trade-and-consumer push. The 26 August 1923 San Antonio Light “Advertising and quality spell success” editorial says Pitluk was called in to outline a campaign that would win grocers and housewives — the broad-page H&H trade-and-consumer campaign run in that issue is therefore largely a Pitluk product.
Open questions
- How long did the Pitluk–H&H account run? Did Pitluk continue placing H&H ads through the 1930s?
- The Broggi Advertising Agency (3107 Broadway) appears on the 1961 Master Chef advertising-record disc — was Broggi a successor agency to Pitluk, a parallel agency, or unrelated?
- Other San Antonio firms Pitluk worked with in the 1920s
