Sunday, 7 October 1934 San Antonio Light (page 35) social note. The Phi Zeta Chi sorority holds a social meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the home of Miss Helen Hoffmann, 126 West Agarita Avenue. One of several clips confirming Helen’s social activity in San Antonio during the 1930s, consistent with her role as the namesake of Texas Girl Coffee (confirmed September 1937). She was approximately 22–23 years old at this date. See also May 1933 tea.
