A fire notice reporting $3,000 in damage at the Hoffmann-Hayman plant on Delaware Street, mostly from water damage after the blaze was contained.

Firemen Get 15 Alarms in Day San Antonio’s fire department responded to 15 alarms within a period of four and one-half hours Saturday afternoon. All blazes but one were minor. Estimated damage of $3000 was caused by a fire of undetermined origin at the Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee company plant, 601 Delaware street. Water damage to coffee stocks accounted for approximately $2500 of the loss. Grass fires accounted for 12 of the calls. The remaining two were at the residence of W. D. Zarbaugh, 1110 East Quincy street, and Mrs. Mary Rylander, 2046 West Mulberry avenue, where reported damage was $10 and $5, respectively.
