H and H Half Pound Blend — Light Housekeepers Size (1920s Label)

Wolf Henning von Kameke sold us this tin in March 2017 for €80 including shipping. He had found it while cleaning out his aunt’s basement in Germany after she passed; we bought it with the lid, which contrasts with the lid-missing San Antonio eBay specimen filed earlier that spring.
We hold two half-pound Light Housekeepers tins from this line—the San Antonio eBay tin (February 2017) is missing its lid; this acquisition from Wolf Henning von Kameke retains its lid.
A rectangular H AND H BLEND Coffee tin in the patriotic red, white, and blue layout: LIGHT HOUSEKEEPERS SIZE runs along the top edge, HALF POUND NET down the sides, and the center panel carries the large H AND H / BLEND / COFFEE stack with MEDIUM GROUND under the red field. Rust tracks the rim and corners, but the lithograph is still bold. This is a different specimen than the round half-pound tin documented in 2019 — here the format is the older flat label style on a housekeepers-size can rather than the later round vacuum-pack style.
