H and H Blend — Light Housekeepers Half-Pound Tin (Feb 2017)

The collection holds two half-pound Light Housekeepers tins from this era; this post is the San Antonio eBay specimen—the one missing its lid. The March 2017 post covers the second tin, sourced in Germany from a private seller.

A rectangular H and H Blend Coffee tin in the half-pound net, Light Housekeepers Size lithograph — navy top and bottom rails (LIGHT HOUSEKEEPERS SIZE above, MEDIUM GROUND below), HALF POUND NET on the vertical margins, and the red center field with the large white H monogram stack, AND / BLEND between the stems, and COFFEE across the foot. The oval lid is gone and rust follows the rolled rim, but the enamel still reads clearly. We picked this one up from San Antonio on eBay in late February 2017.
