City Bottling Works deco soda bottle (Three Rivers Glass)

Clear glass soda bottle with a crown finish and stepped horizontal mold rings between neck and body. The panels carry raised deco diamond lattice above and below a wide horizontal band of bold embossed CITY lettering — the usual shorthand collectors read as City Bottling Works. A small rectangular neck tag is handwritten 3 Rivers / 45.00 (dealer pricing in the photo, not necessarily related to Texas locality).

This bottle is City Bottling Works packaging, not Hoffmann-Hayman branding, but it sits in the same Three Rivers Glass collecting lane as the other regional bottles from Glass Bottles from Three Rivers. We acquired it in June 2014 from jays-emporium on eBay as part of that six-bottle purchase; which Texas town used this embossing is still open research.
