H & H Coffee Co. Offers Vaculator

Now available at grocers is the eight-cup Vaculator Pyrex Glass Coffee Brewer displayed above—a $2.75 value—which is being offered by H and H Coffee Company for $1.29 in connection with the purchase of two pounds of H and H Drip Grind Coffee. Included in the display pictured is the new H and H family size vacuum can, a 28-ounce package containing the same amount of coffee as is in most two-pound vacuum cans. Also shown are the H and H two and one-half-pound vacuum can and the H and H vacuum sealed crystal jar—both of which contain the equivalent amount of coffee as is in most three-pound cans. For the first time, housewives of South Texas are being given an opportunity to get at a bargain price with the purchase of H and H Coffee, an eight cup latest model Vaculator glass coffee brewer—made with genuine Pyrex glassware, according to an announcement by Gus P. Menger, president of H and H Coffee Company. The coffee brewer is being offered at the sensationally low price of $1.29, with the purchase of two pounds of H and H Drip Grind Coffee at grocers, who are prominently displaying this new H and H offer, Menger stated. “Almost everyone appreciates the advantages of brewing coffee in a glass coffee brewer—for it virtually assures a fine cup of coffee every time,” said Menger. “And through years of national advertising, housewives know the name Pyrex stands for heat resistant glassware of the highest quality. That’s why thousands of housewives in Texas are recognizing as a rare bargain our offer of the handsome Vaculator brewer at only $1.29. We guarantee it to be a value of not less than $2.75.” Explaining why H and H Vaculator brewer coffee is being made in connection with the purchase of two pounds of H and H Drip Grind Coffee, Menger said: “After long and thorough testing of every available grind recommended by roasters for use in glass coffee brewers, the National Coffee Roasters’ Association have recently recommended the use of drip grind instead of pulverized grinds.” “These experts discovered that when coffee is too finely ground, it loses flavor quicker and does not make a satisfactory brew in glass coffee makers,” Menger continued. “Drip grind, these experts said, produces coffee richer in flavor, and of the proper strength when used in glass brewers—neither weak, nor too strong. Following these recommendations, H and H Coffee Company naturally recommends the use of H and H Drip Grind Coffee in the new Vaculator Pyrex glass coffee brewer, or in any other type of glass coffee brewer.”
