Mid-summer placement in the 1954 Caller-Times group with September p. 37 and December p. 30 — the December piece prices a 1-lb package at 69¢.
NEW COFFEE MIXTURE—The Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Co. of San Antonio has a new coffee mixture, Jav-O, which it says will save the housewife up to 35 cents a pound. The new blend, an all-purpose grind suitable for all methods of coffee brewing, is described by G. P. Menger, president of the H&H Coffee Co., as “a blend of the highest grade coffees with a neutral, healthful ingredient that protects the flavor and aroma of the fine coffees in Jav-O.”
