Funeral notice for Mrs. Rose Lee Menger, 62, of 158 Brightwood, San Antonio, who died Wednesday. Services pending Thursday at Our Lady of Grace church. Angelus Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Menger was a life-long resident of San Antonio and member of St. Peter, Prince of Apostles church, the Altar society, Parent-Teachers club, Sultanas and Catholic Daughters. She is survived by her husband, Gus Menger, president of H. & H. Coffee co.; daughters Mrs. John C. Burkholder, Mrs. Guy McClung, and Sister Rose Marie; son A. G. Menger; sister Mrs. T. L. Shaw; and brothers A. B. and Ben Crowther, all of San Antonio.
This notice documents the surviving Menger family tree at 1955: Gus Menger still president; son Albert G. Menger (who would become president after Gus by 1960); daughter Mrs. John C. Burkholder (whose husband John C. Burkholder was by 1963 VP and 15-year board member).

Funeral services were pending Thursday for Mrs. Rose Lee Menger, 62, of 158 Brightwood. She died Wednesday.
Mrs. Menger was a life-long resident of San Antonio and member of St. Peter, Prince of Apostles church, the Altar society, Parent-Teachers club, Sultanas and Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her husband, Gus Menger, president of H. & H. Coffee co.
Other survivors include daughters, Mrs. John C. Burkholder, Mrs. Guy McClung and Sister Rose Marie; son, A. G. Menger; sister, Mrs. T. L. Shaw, and brothers, A. B. and Ben Crowther, all of San Antonio.
Angelus Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
