Fire sweeps Aviation Coffee plant — San Antonio Light, 27 Feb 1937

Brief Medina Street fire story — damage estimate and owner A. A. Walker (same manager name appears in Tucker Coffee coverage).
FIRE SWEEPS COFFEE PLANT
Fire Saturday morning swept de-struction through two floors of the Aviation Coffee company plant, 119 South Medina street. Wind and a light rain hindered work of firemen, who answered the two-alarm call and pulled three box cars to safety, as they fought to keep the flames from spreading to nearby warehouses. Origin of the fire was undeter-mined. A. A. Walker, owner of the plant, estimated damage at $20,000, saying he considered the structure and contents a complete loss.
