OFFER OF GLASS COFFEE BREWERS MADE BY H. & H. CO.
The increasing popularity of glass coffee brewers has been instrumental in the Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company’s new policy of making their three popular brands of coffee, H. & H. Sam Houston and Texas Girl, also available in a FINE GRIND especially adaptable for use in glass coffee brewers. Look for the Blue Sticker on each package which reads “Ground Especially for Glass Brewers.”
Of additional interest is the announcement that the company is stocking the “Cory” Improved Brewer, considered one of the best on the market today, and that these brewers, in either gas or electric models in the eight-cup Homestead Model size, are available to households of San Antonio and Southwestern Texas through a special coupon offer contained in H. & H. Crystalvac, vacuum-packed glass jars for only $1.75 and six coupons for the gas model, and $2.75 and six coupons for the electric unit.
After exhaustive tests, many noted scientists state that coffee made in glass brewers, without any metal coming into contact with the brew, contains practically no caffeine, or at least in such small quantities that several cups of coffee may be drunk simultaneously by people who profess being unable to drink coffee because of its caffeine content. Good coffee is not only healthful and mildly stimulating, but is also a positive aid to digestion and is considered one of the indispensable items in most homes.
The Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company, pioneer Texas roaster of coffee, has again proved its local eminence in making the offer of this modern glass brewer to the housewife who is interested in fine coffee and is the best way to prepare for serving. Also significant is the fact that the coupons are obtainable in the Crystalvac Jar, which is another innovation perfected by this company. It is a revolutionary type of vacuum-crust jar, which affords supreme freshness to the coffee it contains and which is reusable, being particularly handy for the preserving of fruits, etc.
The Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company is San Antonio’s largest coffee-roasting institution. Its fully-equipped plant at Delaware Street and the S. P. tracks, is the most modern in the State and has attracted wide interest since its construction several years ago.
