San Antonio Express-News, 25 July 1939, page 5 — H and H Coffees summer iced-coffee display ad showing three polar bears holding picket signs reading "Smile your way through Summer," "Cool off — Get a Pick-up," and "ICED COFFEE," next to a tall iced-coffee glass.

A summer-1939 H and H Coffee Co. display ad that scales up the polar-bear iced-coffee theme from two weeks earlier (HH-CLIP-1939-0004) into a wider three-bear panel. The bears hold three picket signs — “Smile your way through Summer,” “Cool off — Get a Pick-up,” and “ICED COFFEE” — beside a tall glass of iced coffee. Crucially, the body copy now lists all three of the company’s flagship blends as iced-coffee bases: H and H, Sam Houston, and Texas Girl Coffees. The same free-booklet offer carries over: “Ten Ways to Serve Iced Coffee,” available by writing to H and H Coffee Co., 601 Delaware St., San Antonio. The 11 Jul → 25 Jul cadence and the trio expansion fit a building-frequency summer ad burst rather than a one-off insertion.
