H and H Master Chef Handi-Handle Sample Cup

A Master Chef four-ounce paper sample cup arrived from Minden, Nevada, in a mixed eBay lot of grocery promos. The front keeps the classic Hoffmann-Hayman palette — deep red panel, yellow scalloped bands, cream H AND H and Master Chef lettering, and a small cup-and-steam vignette — on tan Sutherland stock. Fold-out Handi-Handle tabs on the back match other period Handi-Handle cups; the rim print names Sutherland Paper Co. in Kalamazoo and Santa Clara. The cup stands only a few inches tall but reads clearly as counter sampling for the hotel-and-restaurant Master Chef line.

The back of the cup, where the handles fold out, has the instructions “Use the Handi-Handle ®”

Printed around inside the rim on the bottom of the cup is “4oz Handl-Handle Cup - Mfd. by Sutherland Paper Co.. Kalamazoo, Mich. & Santa Clara, Calif. U.S.A.”
