A Sam Houston coffee label from a 1lb. Perc-o-Drip Grind tin arrived from Helotes, Texas. It is amazing that someone carefully took the label from a tin, saved it, and protected it for eight decades until it made it to eBay. This is our first Sam Houston item.

The Sam Houston brand is an early one when H and H was expanding their coffee offerings. H and H Blend, Sam Houston, and Texas Girl can be found advertised together in newspapers in 1930’s. Here is one from the Brownsville Herald, Tues April 16, 1935.
