H and H Brand Spices ginger, 1½ oz

We added another H and H Brand Spices tin: ginger at 1½ ounces net, photographed here beside the one-ounce cinnamon tin from July 2014 so the two shaker styles sit on one frame—the cinnamon tin with its rotating-dial top and the ginger with a different sifter tab. The rectangular packs use lithographed paper on the long sides and metal caps; given the shipping knock-around, it is a small miracle either survived. A little brown spice still moved inside the ginger in the box, but the nose is gone.

Earlier in 2014 we had not been sure the spice line was real; now the collection holds two of these small packed for Hoffmann–Hayman tins back to back.
