A Crystalvac Jar from H and H Coffee

In hand is a large, clear, three-pound H and H Crystalvac jar: a tall square plan with big corner radii, a dark oxidized metal screw cap with a knurled edge, a wire-bail stud on the neck, and molded shoulder lettering in relief — H and H in block letters and Crystalvac in script. The base shows the standard Crystalvac diamond, Container and Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. wording, and a small numeral 8, the base layout the Three Rivers works used for H and H retail.
On June 15, 2014, we met Debbie at the Comfort Antique Mall to pay the sixty dollars and take the jar, picking up where A Visit to Three Rivers had left the hand-off the previous day.
