Morrison-related newspaper clip — halftone product grouping and columns, 13 Dec 1914 Express-News page 44

This Sunday, 13 December 1914 San Antonio Express-News clip from page 44 carries the Newspapers.com subject line “1914 Morrison Coffee.” The saved raster is a tall halftone-heavy block (embedded JPEG from the export); automated OCR did not return usable body text, so we publish the facsimile first and treat column copy as a manual transcription task.

Visually, the art reads as a packed display of cans, sacks, and cartons consistent with early Morrison San Antonio–made retail lines (including Wesco-style round tins and Misa-style cartouche lettering in the grouping). Use the scan for pack silhouette research alongside the Morrison acquisition notices until a verbatim transcription is keyed.

Halftone display art only in this export—column prospectus copy did not OCR cleanly. Labels visible on packages in the montage include Wesco Coffee (round tin), The Old Time Broncho, Juanita / Pride of the Ranch, Texco Coffee, Harvest Jubilee Coffee, Misa Brand Coffee, and Club Chocolate, among other Morrison-era San Antonio lines.
